3月9日消息，长城汽车董事长魏建军在直播中表示，魏牌V9X立项时，关于用不用隐藏式门把手讨论了7个月。隐藏式门把手降低风阻系数，但影响也仅有千分之一。隐藏式门把手是个伪技术，它靠电控制，一旦出现故障就打不开车门。他还表示，长城坚定使用机械式门把手，车门把手也可以是电动的，国家出台的政策是一个很好的平衡，要求电动门把手必须配备机械开关。
